Cautionary Steps

Although not contagious between victims, it is obviously spread through bacterial outlets. These outlets are usually relative to dirty water supplies, raw sewage outlets, and farming ground kept out of sanitary check, with wounds on the victim acting as a point of entry. Given the wounds that the victims have faced beforehand, the bacteria can spread through them, thus infecting them. The best way to prevent infection is through vaccination. Usually at the age of 5, one should be fully vaccinated. Every 10 years or so, the recipient should also recieve additional booster shots. In other cases, especially in poorly kept lands, one's feet should always be protected through the use of wearing shoes or other footwear. If wounds do occur, keep them clean with constant washing and application of antibiotics like penicillin. To prevent spreading to the next of kin, pregnant women should make sure that they have recieved all necessary vaccinations prior to labor and childbirth.
